• Pre-requisite
  • Materials like Saw Dust, Ground Nut Shells, Coffee Husk, Sugarcane, Bagasse, Castor Seed, Shells and all other agro and forestry waste to be used as raw materials
  • When more than one material is used, it is to be ensured that they are mixed well and in suitable proportion.
  • Raw Material should not be more than 25mm in size
  • Raw Material should not have moisture content more than 15%. Raw materials with more than 15% moisture needs to be dried in sunlight or driers.
  • Process
  • Material from mixing area is discharged with the help of Conveyor to hopper
  • Material from hopper is moved to the connecting chamber and then it gets compressed by the Hydraulic pressure.
  • The compression raises the temperature of material which results in softening of the lignin – inherent in every biomass. This lignin comes to the surface and binds the materials together forming Briquettes in the shape of Rectangular or cylindrical type
